Sandy DeLuna (Spring 2014)

About the Artist

My name is Sandy DeLuna and I retired six years ago; I knew I wanted to start to paint again. I have taken watercolor classes from local artist Roy Lowry, Ken Mitchell, oil and acrylic classes from Jim Beauvais and pastel classes from Jerri Shrader and Wally Mann.

I have been accepted into three juried art shows in Ocean Shores, WA Healing Gallery in Aberdeen, Olympic Art show, and recently, the Meeker’s Classic Sheepdog art contest.

I enjoy all mediums and sometimes mix them for different effects. The more I paint the better I’ve become in knowledge and experience. I have paintings hanging in the Mermaid Cove in Ocean Shores, WA, Six Rivers Gallery in Hoquiam, WA and the Healing Gallery in Aberdeen; plus the Ramada Hotel in Ocean Shores, WA. It’s been a fulfilling experience to continue to paint and learn; there is always something new to experience.
