I have been painting for over forty years. A native of Oregon, I won the Scholastic Art Awards in 1962 when attending high school in Salem, Oregon. I was in the Pacific Rim Art Show in Seattle, 2000. I presently reside in Washington State and continue to paint scenes from where I have traveled throughout the Northwest and Canada.
My oil paintings are of places where I have traveled. They consist of many different scenes and also a combination of landscapes, vintage cars, and towns.
I was represented by Golden Gallery from 1990 through 2001, in Snohomish, Washington. My oil paintings were shown in Pacific City, Oregon, by Pacific City Gallery, for over six years till September, 2012, when the gallery was forced to close due to illness. My work presently is being shown at Wild Rain Gallery in Tillamook, Oregon, located, 17050 Wilson River Highway.
I have been told my technique is one of a kind. All oil paintings are custom framed with a liner where the painting is continued. Bring the painting inside the frame and the heavy texture shows the depth and realism of the paintings.
