My name is Sandy DeLuna and I retired 5 years ago; I knew I wanted to start to paint again. I have taken watercolor classes from Roy Lowry, Ken Mitchell, oil and acrylic from Jim Beauvais, pastel classes from Jerri Shrader and Wally Mann.
I have been accepted into three juried art shows in Ocean Shores, WA., Healing Gallery in Aberdeen, Olympic Art show, and recently the Meekers Classic Sheepdog Art contest in Meekers, CO.
I enjoy all mediums and sometimes mix them for a different effect. The more I paint, the better I’ve become in knowledge and experience. I have paintings hanging at Mermaid Cove Gallery in Ocean Shores, Ramada Hotel, Blue Tail Gallery in Ocean Shores, WA, Six Rivers Gallery in Hoquiam, and the Healing Gallery at GHCH, Aberdeen, WA. It’s been a fulfilling experience to continue to paint and learn, there’s always something new to experience.
