Linda Parisi (Spring 2013)

Linda K. Parisi was born in Tokyo, Japan but calls Ocean Shores, WA her home, where she maintains a working home studio. She paints in a realistic manner when from her travels throughout the USA and world. She paints primarily in watercolor but her paintings are deceptive because of the deep colors that she is able to achieve from many layers of pigment.

She has had a couple of ink and watercolor plein aire sketches published in Sketchbook Magazine. She is a member of Associated Arts of Ocean Shores, Sierra Watercolor Society, and Olympia Art League. She has won several local and national awards. Her paintings were on the cover of “Country Pleasures” August 2010 publication along with an article about her art. She was featured on the cover of “Senior Sunset Times” January 2013.

Her collectors reside throughout all of the western coastal states, Indiana, Mississippi, Florida and British Columbia, Canada. Her paintings are primarily landscape (buildings), florals, classic cars & motorcycles. Most of her commissions are classic cars, motorcycles, and vacation scenes. Linda’s paintings can be seen at Mermaid Cove Gallery in Ocean Shores where she is usually participates as an artist in action on the 3rd Saturday Art Walks. Some of her paintings can be viewed at Ramada Inn of Ocean Shores. Linda teaches watercolor classes on the 3rd Sunday of each month at Mermaid Cove Gallery & Gifts.
