Kathleen F. Graddy (Spring 2013)

Kathleen Feldkamp Graddy grew up on a small farm in Manchester, Michigan, in a creative family active in music, 4-H, and community service. She attended Albion College and earned her BFA at the University of Michigan. Her Master’s Degree, with a drawing major was granted by Arkansas State University in 1982. Kathleen moved to Grays Harbor in 1992, and fell in love with the climate, the light, and its amazing landscapes.

She has learned so much from teaching art for 30 years. Besides teaching for Grays Harbor College for over 8 years, she taught at the Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle, The Evergreen State College, the Hoquiam Sr. Center, and now heads the Art program at Harbor High School in Aberdeen. The owner of Marigold Art Studio for many years, she took students plein-air painting around Grays Harbor. She also works as scenic artist for Spring and Summer musicals at Grays Harbor College. Kathleen was the founding president of the Harbor Art Guild, which celebrates its 5th year in 2013, and she provides classes in watercolor painting and children’s art at their Six Rivers Gallery in Hoquiam.
