Ella Seely (Fall 2014)

When I retired as a microbiologist from the County, I was eager to start new hobbies and the one very high on the list was learning to draw and later paint with watercolor. I started taking drawing lessons at Grays Harbor College with Kathleen Graddy and later went on to study watercolor with her. I have over the last few years taken classes from Meoldi Cottengin in Olympia and attended watercolor workshops offered by Erik Sandgren, Fealing Lin and Gerald Brommer. I presently study watercolor with Roy Lowry in Ocean Shores.

Other hobbies I have are hiking, skiing, reading and traveling.

I have been married to my husband, Truman, for 46 years, have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. I live in Central Park.
