Introducing Brenda Peterson’s oil and watercolor paintings of roses, flowers and birds.
Brenda S. Peterson, artist from Cosmopolis, Washington. Art has always been on the top of her list of activities that she enjoys.
She majored in art in high school and participated in art classes in three Community Colleges. Various art classes include Leita Craig (GHC) in Raymond and Ruth Webb in Montesano. Her paintings have won blue ribbons at both Grays Harbor and Pacific County Fairs, and the Arts and Crafts festival in Ocean Shores. She has participated in art shows in Olympia, Eatonville, Hoquiam, Aberdeen, Gig Harbor, Ocean Shores, Puyallup and Westport. She is a member of the Grays Harbor Art League, Harbor Art Guild, and Westport’s South Beach Art Association. Her present medium is florals and birds in oil and watercolor.
Brenda’s style of paintings is influenced by Victorian studies from the turn of the century. Roses and flowers are her passion.
She incorporated her own style by adding bright, bold, cheerful contemporary colors.
